Three Visions

Aileyn Ecob, Franki Kohler, and Jean Jurgenson

Welcome to Fiber on the Wall – Three Visions. We hope you enjoy exploring our world of art quilts. The three of us share many things: a passion for creating beautiful, interesting, original textile art; a passion for exquisite workmanship; and a passion for sharing our work with each other and all of you.

About seventy years—that’s our collective quilting experience. Pretty amazing for women as young as we are! We have known each other as quilting friends for nearly twenty years. In the spring of 2006, we gathered to work through The Artist’s Way by Julia Cameron. That experience set us on a course that has inspired us to “go public.” We are excited to see where this will lead us.

We are so fortunate to have the benefit of trusted quilting friends to critique our work. We love to visit galleries and shows, and we are always ready for a road trip. We continue to study art and design principles. (Our grandmother said you should learn one new thing every day.)

Two of us are sisters by birth. We are all sisters by choice. We live in the San Francisco Bay Area.

We welcome the opportunity to showcase our work as Fiber on the Wall – Three Visions, or as individuals. Contact us at mail@fiberonthewall.com or individually through our contact pages concerning our art. We’d love to hear from you.
